Live Virtual Classroom Delivery

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the interest of student and staff safety, AMA Training Services will be utilising our advanced Live Virtual Classroom environment to support students through their studies. All students will have access to pre-recorded lectures as per our current online offering, but this will be supplemented by daily live tutorials to support student progress. These sessions are live and interactive, designed to provide the same high quality learning experience in a safe and appropriate manner given the current circumstances. Students will still receive the same educational outcomes and nationally recognised units of competency, positioning them well for employment opportunities without needlessly placing them in a position of higher risk whilst studying.

Regional and interstate students can still receive the benefits of this sought after course by completing it online, using AMA Training Services' unique and engaging Assisted Self Directed (ASD) online delivery.

With this mode of study you will have up to six months to complete the same modules as those completed in the classroom. You will have access to the same learning resources as are given to classroom students. To assist you, each module has a number of pre-recorded video sessions of about 15-25 minutes in length each (viewed easily online from any device). These sessions cover the same content, by the same trainer, as the classroom delivery, including engaging demonstrations, tips, tricks and industry insights.

Students will also have access to AMA Training Services' online learning environment with an active discussion board, FAQs and links to further reading.

You will have access to a qualified trainer for any questions and support.

The online course has been carefully developed to ensure we offer flexibility without compromising quality.

To enrol for the online course, simply select 'Online' for both the course location and course option. Then select a start date that suits you.

The learning outcomes achieved provide participants with three nationally accredited Units of Competency for:

  • BSBMED303: Maintain patient records
  • BSBMED305: Apply the principles of confidentiality, privacy and security with the medical environment
