AMA Training Services understands that many students who undertake the Medical Reception course do so in order to help them find employment within the industry.

Thankfully the course itself is already recognised and highly regarded by the industry and we love hearing the positive feedback from graduates who land their dream role. However, there is more to finding a job than just having the right qualifications.

As such, graduates have access to an online recruitment support module produced by our dedicated recruitment arm, AMA Recruit.

This module teaches graduates the finer arts of securing the right role, from CV writing tips, appropriate use of social media, job search and application right through to interview tips to ensure you stand out from the rest.

Graduates are also encouraged to register with AMA Recruit for personalised assistance with their job search efforts. Our WA graduates will also benefit from being considered for paid traineeship opportunities with participating WA GP and Specialist clinics, which will allow them to be in paid work whilst completing a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration).

The Medical Reception Course can be combined with the equally popular AMA Medical Audio Typing Course (Not Nationally Recognised) at a significant discount.

When completed on its own, the AMA Medical Audio Typing Course costs $150. When completed in conjunction with either the classroom or online Medical Reception Course it costs only $100.

Please contact us on 9273033 if you would like to enrol in this additional unit to enhance your employability even further!

Assisted Study Program Delivery

The Assisted Study Program (ASP) was designed to ensure our students benefit from a rich and structured learning experience without losing flexibility along the way. Under the ASP, all four units of competency are delivered with weekly lectures via the AMA's virtual classroom environment as per published dates. These lectures generally last 3 1/2hours which will include a 30 minutes Q & A session. The lectures are delivered live and the virtual classroom allows for a high level of interaction with students. However, we realise that not all students will be able to join the live online lectures, and as such these sessions are recorded and made available to all students to watch at their leisure.
