Medical Audio Typing

Using the latest digital technology, this self-paced course is designed to develop skills in audio typing.

This unit course covers the correct methods of presenting medical data in documents, and how to transcribe audio dictation to produce accurate texts.

The course takes approximately 15 hours to complete, and includes a small theory assessment, plus typing exercises which are guided via audio recording.

These audio recordings are accessible via our online student portal, and can be completed at any location, as long as you have access to a computer with audio ability.

Recommended For:

Persons interested in establishing their careers as medical receptionists/typists in the health and allied health sector. A great follow-on from the AMA Medical Terminology Course, or as a stand-alone unit.
